In the evening, optional and for an additional fee: An evening cruise in Cairo along the Nile River with dinner and a show program. Sailing along the Nile River, you can enjoy the night views of the Metropolis of Cairo – the city of contrasts. The trip on the cruise ship restaurant lasts about 2 hours and includes a buffet dinner, a show program and a transfer from/to the hotel.

  • Cairo : Breakfast. Visit one of the wonders of the world – the Egyptian pyramids, which fascinate with their grandeur and mystery. From the panoramic platform in Giza, you will have a view of the metropolis of Cairo. You will not miss the meeting with the impressive statue of the Sphinx. Visit to the perfume factory. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, free time or on request and for an additional fee: An excursion to Old Cairo, the Museum of Civilizations and the Khan el Khalili market. Old Cairo or Coptic Cairo unites some of the oldest Christian, Muslim and Jewish temples in Egypt. You will have the opportunity to visit the "Hanging Church" and the Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus Abu Serga, where the Holy Family is believed to have lived. The tour will continue with a visit to Cairo's newest "Museum of Civilizations", which is the new home for 22 mummies of 18 pharaohs and four queens. The program will end with a symbolic Cairo and the largest open-air market in Africa, Khan el Khalili. Dinner and overnight.
  • Cairo – Aswan : Early breakfast (or dry bag). Transfer to Cairo Airport for a direct domestic flight to Aswan. Landing at Aswan airport. Tourist program in the Aswan area : The high wall of the Nasser Dam, blocking the Nile River. Its construction was postponed several times for political reasons and the need to move important archaeological sites. The unfinished obelisk is a magnificent monument with a height of 42 m and a weight of 1200 tons, which has never been installed. He was thrown into the rock in which he was carved in ancient times, because of the crack that appeared. Visit to the Temple of Isis. It was originally located at the address of Filet Island, which is now flooded by the waters of the Nasser dam. The temple was saved and handed over to Agilica Island, thanks to a large-scale rescue operation by UNESCO. Transfer to the cruise ship. Placement. Lunch on the ship.

Additional tourist program and upon prior request: excursion to the Nubian settlement – your visit to Aswan cannot be complete without feeling the incredible atmosphere of the Nubians and enjoying a peaceful walk among the islands of the Nile River. Free time for a walk through the botanical garden. Take a motorboat along the Nile River and reach the Nubian settlement. The possibility of an independent walk through the colorful Aswan market or a tourist program on request and upon prior request (a package of breakfast cereals with participation in an additional service) : a bus tour to Abu Simbel with entrance tickets. Early departure from the ship. Abu Simbel is located on the west bank of the Nile River. During the construction of the Nasser Dam, the temples were moved 65 m above their original location. There are two ancient Egyptian temples carved into the rock with an extremely beautiful and impressive facade from the time of Ramses II (about the 13th century BC), after his victory at Kadesh. The great temple is dedicated to the gods Amon, Ra, Horus and Ptah. The image of Ramesses dominates the overall decoration of the temple and radiates divine power. Very close to the Great Temple is the so-called Small Temple or temple of Hathor and Nefertari. This is the first temple in the history of Egypt dedicated to the queen. The temple complex is now under UNESCO protection. Return to the ship around noon. Lunch. In the afternoon, departure to Kom Ombo. Come late at night and explore the temple in Kom Ombo. It was built in the Hellenistic era, i.e. in the time of the Ptolemies, and is an unusual double temple dedicated to Sobek, the god of crocodiles and Horus– the god of falcons. Departure to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on the ship.

  • Edfu – Luxor : Departure from the ship. An early visit to the temple in Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus, the son of Isis and Osiris. The construction of the temple began in 237 BC, during the reign of Ptolemy III, and was completed almost 2 centuries later, in 57, during the reign of Ptolemy XII – the father of the famous Cleopatra. Return to the ship. Breakfast. Departure to Luxor via Esna. Lunch. Free time on board the ship. In the evening, visit the Luxor Temple, located on the ruins of ancient Thebes. A once-in-a-lifetime experience!”

This trip combining Cairo, Hurghada, and a Nile Cruise was truly unforgettable! Cairo was an amazing start, with visits to the Pyramids, the Egyptian Museum, and the bustling markets. The history and culture in Cairo are unmatched. Afterward, we traveled to Hurghada for some much-needed relaxation by the Red Sea. The beach was stunning, and I enjoyed some fantastic snorkeling. The highlight of the trip was the Nile Cruise. Cruising along the Nile, with stops at Luxor and Aswan, allowed us to experience the ancient wonders of Egypt in a way we never could have imagined. The service on the cruise was exceptional, and the excursions were well-organized. Highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to experience the best of Egypt!

“A perfect mix of history and relaxation.”

This tour of Cairo, Hurghada, and the Nile Cruise offered a great balance of sightseeing and relaxation. Cairo was as vibrant and fascinating as expected—visiting the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum was a dream come true. We then headed to Hurghada, where we spent a couple of days by the beach, soaking up the sun and enjoying some water activities. The Nile Cruise was definitely the highlight. The boat was comfortable, and the views along the Nile were incredible. We visited historic sites like the Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings. My only critique was that the schedule was a bit tight at times, and there were days when it felt like we were rushing through attractions. But overall, a fantastic experience.

Good, but could be more relaxed.”

The combination of Cairo, Hurghada, and the Nile Cruise was interesting, but I felt it was a bit too rushed. Cairo’s historical sites were incredible, especially the Pyramids, but we didn’t have much time to fully explore the city. Hurghada was lovely for a couple of days by the sea, but we didn’t get to do much beyond lounging on the beach and enjoying the water. The Nile Cruise was beautiful and relaxing, but there were so many excursions and activities that we often felt exhausted rather than rejuvenated. If you’re someone who likes to take your time and immerse yourself in each location, this tour might not be for you, but it’s a great option for those who want to see a lot in a short time.
