Great trip to Abu Simbel Temple Complex! Private Tour of Abu Simbel from Aswan. Our driver picked us up promptly at 6am and delivered us smoothly to the destination. The two temples are preserved almost perfectly, it is well worth spending hours on the road to get here. Highly recommended!!!

Amazing temple. Highly recommend staying a night in Abu Simbol town the night before you visit. Get there at 6am for the most peaceful experience. We watched the sunrise and enjoyed the atmosphere of the temple without many other people. Tour groups start arriving by bus (so many) at 8:30am. My favourite temple I visited in Egypt, stunning location and very interesting history.

The temple is magnificent. It’s about 3.5 hrs from Aswan. Nice tours arranged the tour for us. The only difficult part is the early morning travel. But otherwise it was a value for money very smooth tour. The cruise arranges for packed breakfast. The tour manager was very helpful. The car was comfortable, accommodating and the guide explained us about the temple so we’ll.

Woke up early at dawn to drive to Abu Simbel. It was a long drive – 3.5 hours through the desert.
But it was all worth it. This is an amazing complex of Ramsese II and next to it is his most favoured wife.
This is not the original site which is submerged in the lake. It is amazing that it took 4 years to move the temple from original site to higher ground (current site) and maintain as much as possible to original structure and wondrous.
This is a must see when in Egypt.
